After more than 15 years touring the stages, the Lluís Coloma Trio had only presented us with two recordings in this format: Remember, Lluís's first album as a leader, recorded in 2001, and 7 Nights at Central”, a live performance at the prestigious Café Central in Madrid, in 2006. Now they are back with their latest studio work, Boogie Wins Again. A record that conveys the strength, subtlety and rapport of the group, with a raw sound, but with depth and feeling. The virtuosity of Lluís Coloma, the groove of Marc Ruiz and the joy that Manolo Germán's double bass spreads will take us along the paths of blues and boogie woogie, with unexpected tributes in the form of a version and some daring incursions into other styles.
