Priorat pianist Lluís Capdevila (1981) grew up in a typically Mediterranean landscape, surrounded by vineyards, in which he developed his artistic sensibility. Although he studied law, he decided to give up his career as a lawyer to devote himself entirely to music. Jazz brought him to New York, where, with a Fulbright scholarship, he studied at Aaron Copland School and earned a doctorate in Musical Arts. As an artist, he made his debut with the album Diaspora (2016), with Petros Klampanis and Luca Santaniello which was well received by critics.

Since then, he has recorded four more works: Daybreak Explorations (2018), Ràdio Cinematogràfica (2019), with the collaboration of Tom Harrell, Ètim (2020) conceived at the Catedral del Vi (Falset), and Social (2021), with the stellar presence of Joe Lovano.
