Every September, the beautiful central Catalan town of Vic hosts an extensive live music festival. This year the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV) celebrates its 37th anniversary featuring the talents of Catalunya, Spain and the Mediterranean.
The MMVV is a professional meeting place for all professionals in the music industry, a showcase for musical ideas that grow out of the exchange of information between programers and bands, cultural managers and musicians, the music business and its public. Offering live concerts in various locations in the city, Vic will be visited by more than 70 artists who will take to the nine stages with an intentionally diverse and open-minded agenda.
