Set in In 1970, San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, Licorice Pizza depicts the story of 15-year-old Gary who studies at the city's public high school. Gary meets Alana, a 25-year-old Jewish girl who works in a photo studio in charge of making the border for the school's students every year. When Gary and Alana first cross paths, a connection quickly develops between them that will be hard to break. Film will be screened in original version with Spanish subtitles.
Pack your own picnic to enjoy during the showing, or if you're short on time you can pick up take-away at one of the L'illa restaurants and settle in for a summer evening with family and friends. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at the L'illa website. General admission is €4.00 and if you would like a lawn chair it's an additional €2.00. Doors open at 21:00, film starts at 22:00.
