Three rumberos and good friends share a flat. While they get dressed to go out for vermouth, they tune in to a radio program, where they take a historical and geographical itinerary through the origin and evolution of the rumba until they reach Spain: from Nigeria to Cuba, New York and Barcelona. The music, the stories of love, war, misery and prosperity of all the men and women who crossed the oceans make the three rumberos sail on top of their small improvised boat: the rumbañera.
