In her bag of tricks are the Pet Shop Boys, classic electropop keyboards, and Rhythm Is A Dancer, maybe even some of the emotional tsunamis of Juan Gabriel or Rocio Jurado? And of course, a heart of drag. La Prohibida aka Amapola López aka Shaila Longfire (maybe we have forgotten some along the way because her career started back in 2001) are all the wigs that Luis Herrero Cortés has worn over the years. This has lead to her becoming an icon in the international transvestite indie scene.
Last year she celebrated Pride with us, and she returns to Nits del Fòrum again after publishing En Acústico and will be bringing along with her a full band.
