From the start, the seven friends from Burgos known as La M.O.D.A. have been musical rebels. Their repertoire of folk and Celtic blues sung in Spanish is delightfully, weirdly beautiful and wildly entertaining.
They went from playing battle of the band contests to presenting their their third studio album in front to 15,000 people at the WiZink Center in Madrid in just eight years — and without the help of a major record label. What's their secret? They say that it is "passion, honesty and time spent on the road,” but once you see the band play live, you’ll see that their success is based on the special magic that this group of good friends brings to the stage.
