La Decana is a tropical music orchestra that performs 100% live, made up of: 10 musicians (three singers, three trumpets, one keyboard, one bass, one timpani and one conga). It was born three years ago under that name, however many of its members have a previous musical career, including sharing the stage.

Production and direction is in the hands of Carlos Goberna (Junior), who has 35 years of experience as a singer; beginning his career in 1987 and continuing uninterruptedly to this day. It's a trajectory that has been enriched with performances in theaters across the world as well a on television and radio.

During the pandemic period, the orchestra began to perform in two formats, a 100% live show without dancing (as long as the protocols allowed it) and a streaming format, performing a total of eight shows viewed in various parts of the world; even with the hiring of streaming for private parties in the United States and Spain. Now back to business as usual, they are performing an average of 10 live shows per weekend.
