The Goldberg Variations are among the most popular, disclosed and performed works by J. S. Bach. Shrouded in myth and even repeatedly performed in distinct versions, they are nonetheless a score of the highest order in Bach's catalogue and in the repertoire of any keyboard player specializing in baroque music. French harpsichordist Jean Rondeau will once again tackle the piece on the modernist stage of the Palau de la Música Catalana.
