Israel Fernández was born into a gypsy family of Andalusian origins settled in Corral de Almaguer (Toledo). His environment and culture soon awaken in him that musical gift that he treasures and that love for flamenco.
Currently, he has four albums on the market, the last two being Universo Pastora (Universal Music, 2018) and Amor (Universal Music, 2020) which have consolidated him as one of the great figures of the genre and music in Spain.
Together with Diego del Morao, Israel has formed one of those couples who are likely to go down in flamenco history for their continuous contributions. Diego is considered today by many as the most important and influential guitarist of his time, which is why, together with Israel, he has formed a perfect tandem with whom he constantly plays to improvise melodically and rhythmically in each live show, something that makes each concert is different.
