Horacio Fumero comes to the Voll-Damm Jazz Festival not only to play the double bass, but to us about his life journey—which is also to a certain extent part of the history of jazz in Spain. From his arrival 50 years ago in the port of Barcelona, ​​​​in May of 1973 to his experiences with giants like Gato Barbieri (with whom he played in Montreux and recorded Chapter One) and Tete Montoliu.

"I will mix music with my life, I will tell scene stories with short monologues," explains Fumero. This concert will also serve to present his solo album. "Above all, they are songs from Argentina, things from my childhood, with a very clear root." Horacio Fumero's life and work closes the festival with a double bass that has a lot of memory, humor and emotions of all kinds.
