Cimino's third film is a western that shows the confrontation that took place in 1890 in Wyoming between the settlers who raised cattle and the newly arrived European immigrants who wanted to dedicate themselves to cultivating the land.
A twilight western that focuses on the class struggle to explain the birth of the United States. A blockbuster that captures the epic of the loser, while also showing the effects of war on coexistence between people.
The film, currently considered a masterpiece, was a critical and public failure and led to the expulsion of Cimino from Hollywood, while contributing greatly to the bankruptcy of United Artist.
Film will be shown in original version with Catalan subtitles.
