Giuseppe Campisi is a double bass player, composer and arranger. He grew up in Sicily, where he developed his passion for music from a very young age, and currently lives in Barcelona. In 2016 he graduated with honors in jazz composition from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and in 2018 he completed his master's degree in jazz performance at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Throughout his career he has composed music for different groups, and has worked as a leader and accompanist in various projects. At Jamboree he presents his latest solo work, Like Splashing in the Ocean (Fresh Sound New Talent), recorded as a quartet with some of the most distinguished musicians on the European scene.
