At Girlfriends, the audience meets Anne and Susan, a story based in New York, after the two girls runaway from their families in Paris. The story is focused on the personal maturation of two friends whose bonds change when Anne decides to get married and leaves their shared apartment. Susan then confronts the challenges of freedom and independence, both in work and in love.
This session also includes the short film J'ai faim, jai froid by Chantal Akerman (1984).
