À l’aube revenant is the fourteenth studio album by Francis Cabrel. A collection of thirteen long awaited new songs from In Extremis. On this occasion, the artist returns to the stage with the Trobador Tour.
Born in Agen in 1953, Francis Cabrel is an important French singer-songwriter author of a popular and sophisticated musical work, a unique and authentic repertoire composed of numerous hits and universal songs. His sensitive and poetic style illustrates his concerns as a man and citizen, as well as his attachment to his Occitan culture.
Cabrel discovered the guitar and began composing songs at an early age, inspired by American folk artists such as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and James Taylor. Translated into many languages, his greatest hits have traveled the world, like the Spanish version of "La quiero a morir."
Cabrel is a fundamental French artist, who combines commercial success, humility and artistic demand. He has remained faithful to his musical and personal convictions. This authentic artist and his repertoire captivate the French and Francophone public all over the world.
