In the 1950s, the UCLA Gender Clinic interviewed several transgender people for an internal study. These recordings remained hidden until 60 years later, when director Chase Joynt discovered the project and decided to recover the pieces.

This film, which was a winner at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, is an exciting reflection on trans identity in the United States featuring Zackary Drucker (Transparent), Angelica Ross (Pose) and Jen Richards (Disclosure).
