As part of the exhibition dedicated to the famous and mysterious artist Banksy programed by the Disseny Hub Barcelona, ​​the Filmoteca de Catalunya will project the film directed by Bansky himself. The piece perfectly showcases his approach to the world of urban art, full of smart humor, irony, and creativity.

The story revolves around Thierry Guetta, a Frenchman who lives in Los Angeles and records everything with his camera, until he is gradually introduced to the world of urban art and meets Banksy. At this point, Guetta becomes the protagonist, and Banksy is the director of the film.

As the title suggests—Exit Through the Gift Shop—is a reflection on the mercantilism of art and all that is false in that overly commercial world. Film will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.
