A small being from another planet is stranded on Earth when his spaceship sets off on the return journey without him. He is alone and afraid, but he soon befriends a young boy who hides him in his house. The boy and his siblings will try to help the alien return home to his planet. A classic film full of fantasy, tenderness and optimism.
Film will be screened in original version (English) with Spanish subtitles
The evening opens at 20:45 with live music with the JJ Groove Quintet serving up an explosive mixture of funk, jazz and soul. Lead singer Atenea Carter’s voice is deep and powerful, perfect for a repertoire that channels the soul of James Brown, backed up by a driving funky beat. While revisiting the classics, the band also breathes a fresh modern air into those legendary sounds.
