Dread Mar I, the pseudonym of iconic Argentine reggae artist Mariano Castro, is on tour in Spain in 2023, promoting his album Yo. It is a work composed, produced and recorded entirely by Castro himself during his confinement, with homemade and lo-fi audio aesthetics.
Yo is the most personal work of the artist to date. His career has not stopped growing since his debut in 2005, and today he is recognized as one of the major references of the new reggae sound in Latin America. His collaborations with other artists such as Nicki Nicole and Bizarrap, have brought his music to fans around the world.
