The Canarian singer, rapper and songwriter, Cruz Cafuné, burst onto the scene with his collective BNMP (Broke Niños Make Pesos) and, together with the help of other artists from Tenerife, they put his island on the map.
His Canarian cultural influence—halfway between Africa, Europe and Latin America—his relaxed melodies in contrast to direct lyrics and his pop music proposal have made him one of the best-known artists on the national scene.
In January 2020, he released his second full-length album, a mixtape with the title Moonlight922, preceded by a series of five singles released during the full moon nights of the second half of 2019.
Later the EPs Visión Túnel and Cáncer, Capricornio, Virgo would follow—the latter launched by surprise on his birthday.
