Seventeen-year-old Ruby is the only hearing member of her family. In the mornings, she works with her parents to help keep the family fishing business afloat. But she is keen to explore new hobbies, and Ruby decides to join her high school choir, where she discovers her passion for singing and her innate gift for music. Film shown in original version with Spanish subtitles.

The evening begins at 20:45 with live music with HalliGalli. This band, formed by four multi-instrumentalists, draws on music from the swing era, sounds the group fuses with Afro-American rhythms. Taking the group's name literally ("hally gally" means "lively party"), its live performances include a tour of theater a la humoresque, giving its shows an exotic, glamorous air that will transport you to unexpected places.
