The story of Chucho Valdés and Paquito D'Rivera began in 1962, when the saxophonist went to a club in Havana to listen to Bebo's son playing the piano. The rest is history! In less than two decades, their collaboration gave rise to some of the most brilliant examples of Cuban music and, by extension, in music in general.
60 years after their first meeting, Chucho and Paquito have recorded together again. The result is I Missed You Too!, an album that is guaranteed to be a serious candidate for the next Latin Grammy Awards.
The tour in support of the album, which in Catalunya has only stopped at the Porta Ferrada Festival this summer, returns for an exclusive fall concert at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona.
