Since 1980, in every first weekend in June, the town of Torrelles has organized a festival celebrating the cherry harvest. It has since grown to include the cherry exhibition, the cherry market and the craft fair. While its focus is the cherry harvest, the festival also promotes the crafts of Catalunya at the crafts fair, where you can find various handmade items and typical products of Catalan cuisine made with traditional methods.

And, since 2007, the festival has celebrated the gastronomic route to ​​promote the culinary side of the quintessential local product: the cherry. A dozen restaurants and bars in Torrelles sign up for this initiative every year, where visitors can taste dishes made with cherries and a lot of imagination.
