Last year at L'auditori, Cécile McLorin Salvant confirmed why she is considered one of today’s outstanding jazz singers. Now she is visiting L'Auditori again to present her new recording, Ghost Song, yet another display of the vocal and emotional depth she is capable of. Using her powerful voice, with its remarkable range, she is also highly skilled at telling stories with her songs. A recital by McLorin is not just a succession of tunes, rather, it is a dense, vibrant, intense narrative.
