Founded in 1994 by brothers Gabriel and Fernando Ruiz in Buenos Aires, Catupecu Machu, currently formed by the latter, Abril Sosa, Julián Gondell and Charlie Noguera, has become over the years one of the best known and most representative bands of Argentine rock.
With almost 30 years of career behind them, they have released seven studio albums, several live albums and some audiovisual editions, including three platinum albums and four gold albums.
Their awards include two Gardel awards, an MTV award for best video clip, a Clarín Music Award and two Rolling Stone awards, as well as three Latin Grammy nominations.
