Beth's new album Origen is full of purely pop melodies which catch you from the first moment. At once sung both delicately and forcefully, they recall the artist's roots and influences. Written some time ago, there are 13 songs on the album in three different languages: Spanish (eight songs), Catalan (three songs) and English (two songs). Origen is a varied and coherent album that speaks about topics as diverse as love, heartbreak, children and hope.

With this album, Beth has sought a somewhat more electronic sound that is not as folksy as in her previous works, and it seems that she has achieved it, taking charge of the production herself for the first time together with Albert Solà.
