Buddy is a young boy growing up in the late 1960s in Northern Ireland, when the province is in turmoil due to working class struggle, cultural change and sectarian hatred. Buddy dreams of a future when he can escape from his problems, but in the meantime he takes comfort in his love of films, in the girl he fancies in class and in his entertaining family. Film will be shown in original version with Spanish subtitles.
Live music by Los Stompers starts at 20:45. The Stompers have been playing Irish music all over Europe for 25 years, following in the footsteps of those legendary masters of Irish folk The Dubliners. The band’s new show takes us on a fun musical journey to Dublin, which is not only the capital of Ireland, but also the capital of pubs and pints!
