The Barcelona Women's Race aims to promote a healthy lifestyle in women of all ages, with the goal of helping with the prevention, early diagnosis and fight against breast cancer.
The traditional “Pink Tide” will once again fill the streets of Barcelona with a sporting and supportive spirit. Participants can able to pick up their number, running shirt and gift bag on November 14th and 15th at the Municipal Sports Complex of Mar Bella.
This year’s edition presents a new route that is flatter and highlights different monuments throughout the city, after the 7.8 kilometer run, the day will be completed with an hour-long fitness and aerobics festival at the Arc de Triomf.
The Route
The run starts not far from the Estació de França at Av. Marquès de l’Argentera with Passeig de Palau, and goes along Passeig de Colom, Passeig de Josep Carner, Av. Paral·lel, Ronda de Sant Pau, Carrer d'Urgell, Av. Gran Via, Carrer de la Marina, Carrer d'Ausiàs March, Passeig de Sant Joan, Av. de Vilanova, Carrer de Lluis Companys, Carrer de Buenaventura Muñoz,Carrer de Wellingtonand finishes at Av. Pujades between Carrer de Nàpols and Carrer de Roger de Flor.
Getting There
To avoid congestion in the metro station, it is recommend to arrive via Passeig de Lluís Companys and Passeig Picasso, where you'll find a more spacious and comfortable area to head towards the starting line. This route will also help you visually locate the finish area after the race, including the cloakroom, aerobics zone, post-race refreshments, and finish line.
The most convenient public transport option is to use the Arc de Triomf metro and Renfe station, located a five-minute walk from the start.
