Barcelona Vive México 2023
to
Poble Espanyol Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia 13, 08038 Barcelona
The Barcelona Vive México festival is the largest Mexical fair in all of Europe, turning Poble Espanyol's Plaça Major into the zócalo of a Mexican colonial town. If you go hungry, the fair presents a series of gastronomic stalls from the most renowned Mexican restaurants and caterers in Barcelona, as well as a space for crafts, sweets and companies from Mexico that offer their products in the city.
The weekend also includes typical Mexican acts, such as lucha libre (Saturday) and mariachis (Cielito Lindo on Sunday), community dance shows, tequila and mezcal tastings, and bolero and ranchera concerts by El Charro Puro Corazón, Diego Galindo, Plice Line and more.
The fair, organized by the Mexican Catalan Cultural Association (MEXCAT), is part of the Barcelona Vive México festival, which runs from September 1 to October 13 and includes numerous activities throughout the city.
