July 8, 2023, is a date marked in red on the calendar of all rock fams. The Palau Olímpic in Badalona will host more than ten hours of concerts within Barcelona Rocks, a massive event for lovers of hard sounds.
Barcelona Rocks will be headed by the German group Scorpions, who return to Barcelona for the first time in five years to present their new album, Rock Believer, in addition to performing a repertoire full of timeless anthems that, after selling tens of millions of records all over the world and after more than 50 years of touring all over the planet, they have become essential pieces to understand the genre.
They will be accompanied by a true classic heavy metal institution: Saxon. The British band returns to Barcelona, where they are especially loved, to perform a concert that will mark the group's first visit to the city since 2019, when they did an incendiary concert at the Barcelona Rock Fest festival. Hymns like "747 (Strangers in the Night)," "Wheels of Steel" and "Princess of the Night" performed in the immensity of the pavilion will take us back to the best moments of rock from the 1980s.
The best thrash metal will come from the hand of the unstoppable Angelus Apatrida. After selling out tickets in the four Spanish cities on their winter tour, the group will devastate the Pavelló Olímpic in Badalona.
After taking the audience by storm in his performance last year, Ross the Boss will return to Barcelona again with a special set list with all the great songs of the heavy metal giants Manowar. Stage veteran, Ross will show us why he is still a "king of metal."
To complete the party, the melodic hard rock of H.E.A.T. and Eclipse will turn the pavilion into an absolute party to celebrate the arrival of summer.
