Barcelona Dibuixa is an open and vibrant celebration of drawing in all its forms, celebrating diversity: strokes, brushes, brushes, pencils, sponges, shadows, and bodies in action. With wrinkled hands or small fingers. With slow times or as quick sparks: we draw with movement, music, and light. We imagine the plants, the cosmos and new cities. Secret worlds, fantastic beings, new ways of inhabiting ourselves, letters and cartographies of invented universes. Science fiction or reality? Lines, stains, dust.

The fest offers drawing workshops for all ages in various museums, schools, civic and cultural centers and theaters throughout the city. There will be more than forty workshops available in total, all run by professionals who offer new challenges and perspectives when it comes to drawing. Over one weekend, drawing is the center of the city’s cultural life, filling the spaces of creativity without limits in shared experiences that invite you to explore, imagine and express. Everybody draws. Everyone is welcome.
