Bailes Collaterales poses a universe in which universal sensations converge, offering an open reading of dances that are situated in the present. A high-voltage emotional journey in which the movement enters into conflict is fed back or intuited, generating a reaction from the individual feeling to the collective feeling. Through the flamenco language, its hybridization with Spanish dance is explored from a contemporary perspective, creating an intelligible common space in which to dance is to feel yourself dancing. This new proposal by José Manuel Álvarez has many sources, from the most traditional flamenco to the most contemporary drama.
