To say that Ara Malikian is a violinist is not a lie, but it is quite an understatement. More than anything, this Madrid-based musician of Armenian blood, born in Beirut in the middle of the Lebanese civil war, is a Trojan Horse who has spent much of his career infiltrating places that apparently do not correspond to him. In his own genre, Malikian is a strange element in a huge sports arena; his attitude also makes him an oddity in a theater or an auditorium.
