The north, the south, the east and the west come together in the rhythmic mix of Antibalas. The music and culture of Nigeria, Cuba and New York are united by this dance brotherhood born in Brooklyn.

Invoking the spirits of musicians such as  Fela Kuti and Eddie Palmieri and the essences of Afrobeat and salsa with a Nuyorican accent — and with jazz and funk components mixed in — Antibalas have become an NYC institution. They are a perfectly oiled machine and their live show is like none other.

This group of ten musicians offers a deep discography after more than two decades playing together. See them live at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona.
