For Andrea Motis, February is a month linked to her personal relationship with Chile, a country she has been visiting for years with her family. That is why her new project is titled February, an intimate tribute to a country and a time, summer in South America. There she recorded the album together with the Camerata Papageno directed by the Argentine-Chilean guitarist Federico Dannemann, a musician that the Barcelona artist considers "a reference." Federico's intention was to delve into the repertoire of Latin American music from a different perspective, thanks to his highly sophisticated arrangements, halfway between jazz and popular music.

Motis said that this album was, above all, "a transforming experience." She also said, "I left the studio crying, and I hope that the people who listen to our concerts take away that same feeling of intensity that we experienced recording February."
