Under the artistic eye of Alonzo King — who is considered one of the most visionary choreographers in the world of ballet — the renowned San Francisco-based dance company with almost 40 years of history performs in Catalunya.
In Terrassa, the Lines Ballet will bring a program of two recently composed pieces, all choreographed by Alonzo King: The Personal element (2019) and Azoth (2019).
The Alonzo King Lines Ballet collaborates with leading composers, musicians and visual artists from around the world. Their choreographies are based on a fortunate combination of cultural traditions and classical ballet giving contemporary dance a new expressive potential. King understands the discipline of dance as a science based on universal principles of energy, and has developed a revolutionary new language of movement based on classical dance techniques.
