Smooth as silk; fine as felt; light as a feather, a nd extremely elegant — this is the music of Adi Oasis. She is a young Franco-Caribbean bassist, vocalist, and producer who decided to leave Paris and cross the ocean at 18 to settle in New York. She will blend jazz, soul, R&B and funk in her concert at Barcelona’s La Nau.
Oasis did not have it easy: she worked there as a waitress and model until she managed to find a place in Cee Lo Green's choir and gain the necessary momentum and inspiration to record her own songs. She is now on tour around the world, and her latest album is a self-titled gem in which she shows off everything she learned from George Clinton and Rick James, two of her musical idols.
