Zeca Pagodinho is the leader of the partido alto, a style of Brazilian samba. Born and raised in the famous suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, during his 40-year career he has become Brazil's biggest samba star. Winner of four Latin Grammy Awards, Pagodinho has recorded 15 albums (including his platinum debut album), three DVDs and has his own TV show.
His creative, joyful and metaphorical songs characterize the relaxed everyday life of the carioca from Rio de Janeiro.
On his 2023 tour, Pagodinho will bring the energy of samba to his shows, which promise a journey into the heart of Brazilian culture.
