The old textile factory, Fabra i Coats is transformed into a city full of radical books and the people that bring them to life at the Fira Literal. This literary fair allows readers and publishers to talk face to face and to learn more about the work that goes into publishing each project. The fair features a series of conferences, debates and conversations that address the hottest topics and social issues in the literary world today with participating authors from various subject areas as well as interviews with authors presenting their new books.

You will also find the Reading Room, a place where you can read samples of the books in each collection. The audience has the chance to hear poetry, music and storytelling from Catalan creatives, and enjoy refreshments from the many food and drink vendors. The Can Fabra school playground will be open for children to enjoy throughout the festival.
