Dave, Art Director, recommends: The Soul Club
He goes there for the very good funk and soul music, it has a little dance floor and one of the DJs is the former owner of Cafe Royale. A must for music lovers.

Every night except Sunday come along to hear the (now getting on a bit) owners play tribute to their favourite band. The bar is a tiny shrine to the Liverpool lads and the walls are festooned with memorabilia. Free to get in but drinks are pricey but the renditions of 'Yellow Submarine', 'Paperback Writer' and 'Eleanor Rigby' make it worthwhile. Just be prepared for some strange pronunciations: the performers have learnt everything phonetically and don't actually speak a word of English....

Small but fun bar in Gràcia, if you love a tiny bar with fun staff and a not too pretentious atmosphere then head down here. The wallpaper is a little trippy and beware of the dodgy toilet doors that don't close properly and can leave the occupant slightly exposed to passersby but apart from that it is a great little place. Fun monthly ipod-battles too.
Milano is a little hard to spot as you have to by-pass a tourist packed restaurant but go down the stairs and you are in a brilliant cocktail bar. The drinks list is huge and not too pricey and the staff are nice and can recommend what drink you might like. Quiet early on but it gets busy as the night goes on, it does give you the slight feeling of being on a cruise ship but that makes it all the more fun.

This local bar in Castelldefels has the excellent and extremely generous offer on the weekends where you can get free drinks depending on your luck at guessing heads or tails. Put 50 cents in a glass, guess heads or tails and if you are right then you get your drink free!
