Pet Shop Boys

Neil Tennent and Chris Lowe have sold a staggering 50 million albums worldwide and I suspect that even they are a little surprised at the on going strength of their appeal. The pair who have a wide-ranging fan base fill stadiums with club kids, intellectual music types and gay fans alike. Their back catalogue is filled with top 30 hits, although some would find it hard to name more than 3 of those tunes but they remain a hugely popular act. Despite recent requests by PETA to rename themselves The Rescue Centre Boys, Tennent and Lowe are promoting Yes, and the stadium show, a visual extravaganza is inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall.
