Fire!!

There’s much that could be written about Fire!!, Barcelona’s Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (movies, blah, blah, documentaries, blah, international, local, etc.). But as the director Joako Ezpeleta has put together a manifesto for this year’s edition, the 14th, it seems more appropriate to give him the floor: “We just want to make a festival of cinema and documentary without labels and without concessions. A festival that helps us not to ‘escape’ but to look straight at the poster and say ‘I’m me’.”
