Eyes only: Arts festival

The fundamental aim of the Festival Ulls (ulls means eyes in Catalan) is to create a ‘bridge’ between Europe and Latin America, and to achieve this it presents free shows of theatre, dance, music and cinema from the two continents.

This year’s edition, the third, is divided into four cycles: Ulls Art Cafè with workshops, performances and food, based in the Palau de la Virreina; Ulls Experience promises theatre productions small, medium and large; Ulls Despert! sees the French Institute and Theatre Institute hosting classes and discussions about the dramatic arts; Ulls Look Latin! features open-air cinema in three city spaces with documentaries and shorts from Brazil, Costa Rica and Argentina.
