1. Petrol heads Now open is a sanctuary for all things Harley-Davidson in Barcelona. Three thousand square metres all dedicated to the infamous motorcycle brand. This place goes beyond an official dealer, it's a place where fans can indulge their passion at the bar, theme restaurant, shop or exhibition area. It offers you the opportunity to buy a new model Harley, Buell models or second-hand. It also has a boutique with all sorts of accessories for the bike as well as a large area dedicated to Harley-Davidson fashion. And if that wasn't enough, you can have your bike repaired at a workshop equipped with the latest technology and a specially-trained team of mechanics. 2. Gentleman's outfitters. With autumn round the corner, it's time to update your wardrobe so why not do it the quintessentially English way? 3. Bedtime stories. Rachel Victoria Rodriguez has managed to make the sometimes complicated world of Antoni Gaudí accessible to children in her latest book, Building on Nature: The Life of Antoni Gaudí. A beautiful combination of illustrations from The New York Times's “Best Illustrated Book Award” winner Julie Paschkis and informed but lyrical writing from Rodriguez unfolds the magic of Gaudí for children. www.amazon.com
4. Rug Relief. It may look like a painful form of torture but this acupressure rug is actually a completely modern take on an age-old tradition from India, and is now available for the first time in Spain. The bed of nails was originally made from wood and metal but the latest version is designed to be aesthetically pleasing and easier to manage. Made in the form of an acupuncture rug it can be used for relaxation, to fight stiffness and pain and to relieve problems with insomnia and stress. It also claims to help circulation and can be used after exercise and for rehabilitation. www.shaktimates.com
5. Street smart. As the weather turns autumnal, if you are still travelling on two wheels, it might be wise to invest in a new invention on the market called Ambtwo. A protective, waterproof and reflective cover for your rucksack, it not only protects your bag from inclement weather but can also help make you more visible on the streets when the daylight begins to fade. Perfect for adults and children alike. www.ambtwo.com
6. Brewers delight. Just in case you thought the Hotel Arts couldn't get anymore exclusive, they go and invent their own beer that is only available at the five-star establishment. Michelin-starred chef Paco Pérez, the brewers at the Tarragona-based brewery Rosita and the sommeliers at the hotel itself have come up with Rosita Blue, a blond beer with a hint of Kafir lime, which aims to offer the drinker a mix of sweet and a touch of sour. www.hotelartsbarcelona.com
