Champions League FC Barcelona
GNEGNERI YAYA TOURÉ, IVORY COAST, MIDFIELDER, 26
Metropolitan: Where would you like to play? Where do you feel the most comfortable?
Touré: Everyone knows that I'm a midfielder. But we have a few small problems in defence. The most important thing is to play. If I play more, I will feel happier, good. Sometimes nowadays you have to compensate for deficiencies in the team but I think this game is very important. There are important players who will not be there. It will be a game of a lifetime.
M: Is the defence already decided? [Puyol, Toure, Pique, Keita practised in training]
T: Not yet but I think it is something we will do but we have to prepare for that.
M: Have you thoughts of revenge after the semi-final defeat last year?
T: We lacked efficiency. We had a lot of problems. This is the perfect final. This is a match we can't fail in. If we manage to win, it will be perfect.
M: Does the weakened defence worry you?
T. We played with more or less this team against Chelsea and in the final of the Copa del Rey. But nowadays in football, the best way to defend is to attack. Because in football, the more you have possession of the ball, the fewer risks you take and therefore the fewer problems you will have defending. We have fewer problems in defence. We have done rotations and stuff like this.
M: Have you spoken to Kolo about the game?
T: We speak all the time. But what he told me about Manchester United I already knew because everyone knows they are a great team. I played against them last year.
M: Manchester United were terrific at the Emirates, any worries?
T: They defend really well - Vidic and Ferdinand are the best central defensive pairing in the world at the moment. And they can hurt you on the counterattack. We know it is going to be a very difficult match
