"The smoking ban is good up to a point. I think I am more likely to quit smoking but then I've been saying that for years! It has definitely been bad for business in this tobacco shop and there are noticably fewer customers now."3 of 5

"We are smokers but agree with the new law. There should be more room for smokers in airports though."4 of 5

"It doesn't matter that there is a smoking law. People can still smoke on the street so I'm not tempted to quit."5 of 5

"I think this smoking law is very bad. I can understand it in restaurants and when there are lots of kids around but I do miss it in the bars and I always need a cigarette with my coffee. I won't quit smoking but I will probably end up smoking less."We're a month into the new, tougher smoking ban and to gauge the general reaction, we went out and joined the newly-evicted smokers on the street to ask them what they think of the change to the law and if it's made them more tempted to quit.
We also spoke to Tabac owners, like Juaci Corral about whether they've experienced a decrease in sales.
