Sixteen years ago, Lyn Lozano arrived in Barcelona with a dream: to build a life truly worth living. Armed with a strong corporate background in multinational companies and an entrepreneurial spirit that refuses to settle, she has since done exactly that—and then some.
Today, Lyn is the Founder and CEO of BCN Ideal Services, a boutique company that offers personalized support and services to individuals, families and businesses navigating life in Barcelona. From relocation assistance to lifestyle management and customized concierge solutions, her company helps clients experience a smoother, more fulfilling life in this vibrant city.
Showing Up, Stepping In
But it’s not just business that drives Lyn—it’s community. A tireless connector and deeply committed volunteer, she’s actively involved in several organizations that reflect her values and energy. She’s a member of the Metropolitan Business Association, Pinoys in Barcelona, Glam Brunch, and a passionate contributor to the Barcelona Women’s Network. When she speaks about these groups, her face lights up: “These organizations promote happiness, create strong, community-oriented bonds and support amazing local charities,” she says. “That’s what life is all about—joy and giving back.”
It’s a philosophy Lyn lives by. A natural leader, she guides others not by commanding attention, but by doing—showing up, stepping in and shining through her actions. Whether she’s mentoring other women, hosting a community event, or just sharing her latest insight over coffee, Lyn’s presence makes an impact.
Lyn’s calm and modest demeanor might lead you to underestimate her—until you find out she recently went skydiving. Or that she’s spent the past year adventuring across Europe with a close circle of friends, blending the personal and professional with warmth and ease. Paris with singer Carla Habermeyer; Malta with a cadre of her “Glammies”; Prague with Olga Boieru; London with Paula Echeverri. (Are they working on co-authoring another book together?) Wherever she goes, Lyn brings connection and joy.

Here in Barcelona, she finds balance through entrepreneurship, music, gastronomy and meaningful friendships. Her apartment in Gràcia—with sweeping views and a kitchen that smells like home—is often filled with laughter, stories and the delicious aromas of homemade Asian dishes she loves to cook for friends. Whether she’s assessing new business ideas in London, Dubai, AbhuDabui or Singapore, or seeking to expand her operations in Barcelona, she is a role model for women in business who dream of creating a life that is in harmony with deep convictions and aligns with their personal values.
In every conversation, Lyn unfailingly refers to the generosity she is thankful for by a seemingly endless list of community and civic leaders in Barcelona, people she says are inspiring role models in her life. During our interview she passionately shared how so many people (far too many to list herein) in Barcelona have touched her life and improved her experience as an expat entrepreneur.
Lyn explains with pictures on her phone: “It is not easy to travel to a country and set up a business and create a life. There are so many people to thank: my team of employees and the people who’ve made valuable introductions to the international community. I never forget who helped me. In my business I try to ease that same burden for others and add tangible value to their lives. And often my clients become lifelong friends!”
Giving Back
Those who meet Lyn might at first see a quiet, careful woman—thoughtful and reserved. But spend just a little time with her, and the lioness emerges: fierce in her kindness, fearless in her generosity and delightfully bold in her humor.
Above all, Lyn is a believer in empowerment. One organization especially close to her heart is the Barcelona Women’s Network, where she’s channeling her skills and connections to help grow membership, foster harmony and raise funds for local causes. “BWN is more than a group—it’s a sisterhood,” she says. “And I want everyone to feel that.”
Lyn hopes to get more actively involved in the BWN. Through her personal and business contacts, Lyn has a vast network of friends and companies that she will happily approach, using the legendary Lyn Lozano charm, to become sponsors and partners to realize the BWN’s full potential and empower charities that help women and families in Barcelona.
Lyn Lozano is living proof that a rich, adventurous and meaningful life is possible when you lead with intention, community and courage—and maybe a little skydiving too.
