Somewhere between the transactional formats of conferences and online content, and the demanding commitment of retreats or year-long coaching programs, there is a gap. A format that goes deep enough to matter, fits into a single day, and feels human to create the kinds of conversations that genuinely shift something.
LE VOYAGEUR was built to address this issue. It exists to help people flourish by making personal and professional growth intentional and actionable. It is a one-day curated experience built around one topic for a small group to connect, learn, and take action while enjoying the process.
At the center are the individuals themselves. There is a real difference between a room full of people and the right people in a room. Twelve participants carefully selected for genuine readiness and engagement with the question at hand. When someone across the table names exactly the thing you have been sitting with for months, something unlocks. That realization, more than any piece of content, is what actually moves people forward.
From the moment you arrive, the hosts set the tone—welcoming each person by name, making sure no one walks into the room cold. Small details, but they matter: they are what turn a group of strangers into a group that is ready to be honest with each other.
Alongside them, a practitioner who has genuinely navigated the terrain. There is no stage and no backstage. They are in the room throughout—during sessions, over lunch, in the informal moments between—asking and answering the questions that truly matter, rather than delivering polished conclusions from a distance.
The setting is chosen as deliberately as everything else: a relaxed house with a garden away from the noise of day-to-day and professional life. The distance is functional; it creates the conditions for more honest conversations, deeper thinking, and kind openness.
The way the day unfolds is just as intentional. It moves from exploration in the morning to clarity and action in the afternoon, with a nice shared lunch at a large table in the middle. And this is not a break from the experience. Some of the most important conversations often happen there.

LE VOYAGEUR exists because its founders—Gerard Coenen and Yoko Youssouf, both based in Barcelona—kept looking for this kind of experience without finding it.
Gerard is Chilean-Dutch, born and raised in Barcelona, with a career that took him from management consulting to the founding team of a NASDAQ-listed technology company. Yoko is French with Vietnamese roots, spent years working alongside Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus on global social business initiatives, and now focuses on women's empowerment through entrepreneurship. Along the way, they have both designed, led, and participated in a wide range of events and learning experiences—seeing what works, what doesn’t, and what is often missing. Again and again, they saw the same pattern: experiences rich in input, short in moments where something actually changed. Often, because the groups were never intentionally curated, leaving people without others they could genuinely relate to, trust, or connect with.
Barcelona felt like the right place to build it. The city attracts people from all over the world who are curious about how to live well and not just successfully. Individuals who are, in a specific and interesting way, ready.
Gerard and Yoko have chosen to explore themes that deeply resonate with the questions they see in their own journeys, within their close circles, and throughout the local community. They built LE VOYAGEUR around four areas of exploration.
- Alignment: Developing new ways of thinking to better navigate decisions, relationships, and life transitions.
- Freedom: Building independence in work, money, and choices to shape life on one’s own terms.
- Vitality: Structuring habits, routines, and environments that support energy, health, and sustainable daily living.
- Horizons: Engaging in sport, art, and exploratory experiences as part of a fuller, more active way of living.
The next edition will take place after the summer and will focus on investing. Not in the aggressive, finance-guru sense, but in a practical and accessible way. How do you actually start investing when you’ve spent years saving but still feel unsure where to begin? How do you navigate the options when you’re living across borders, dealing with taxes, pensions, platforms, and advice that never quite fits your situation?
This day is for people who earn a living, already save, and know they should probably be doing more with their money but haven’t yet found a clear, grounded way forward. The goal is not to become an investment expert. It is to leave with a better understanding of your own situation, a simple framework that fits your life, and one concrete next step you feel ready to take.
