This month, we go behind the scenes with producer, sound engineer, recording studio owner, and musician Pau Romero. He has worked with a wide range of artists, from global icons such as Take That to Skrillex, Nathy Peluso, Flashy Ice Cream, and Xarim Aresté, among others. His approach to recording and production brings together a deep knowledge of a wide range of disciplines acquired over many years of experience, as well as an intuitive sense for how to connect with people and foster an open, creative working environment. His current projects include talented singer, songwriter and guitarist Jan Nieto — and Pau is also working with Tori on her new album, which is where she got the idea to interview him in the first place.
Last month, we interviewed creative artisan Silvia “Toty” Marchissio. Originally from Argentina, she and her partner Sebastian have established themselves on the local artists and crafts scene with their innovative designs for one-of-a-kind purses, wallets, and much more—all made from recycled materials. You can catch them at local artisan markets year-round.
