On the first Monday of every month we feature figures from the local, national, and international arts, music and culture scene in an in-depth interview focusing not only on their professional successes, but also on their creative processes and what drives them to make their art.
This month Tori Sparks interviews world renowned interior architect and designer Lázaro Rosa Violán, who has essentially pioneered the vintage-meets-industrial look that has become synonymous with a quintessentially Barcelona style. Over the years, he has created hundreds of livable works of art for restaurants, hotels, retail chains and more on six continents.
Last month, we heard from musical dynamo Dani Neŀlo. The Spanish saxophone player is a former member of the iconic rock band Los Rebeldes, as well as radio host, television and soundtrack producer, a music historian, and the leader of multiple musical projects including Los Mambo Jambo.
Coming up next month: we interview multilingual stage and screen actor Oscar Foronda, who is the only Spanish actor in the cast of the new season of Netflix’ hit series, The Crown.
